I am wanting to upgrade the ram in my A1342 MacBook (Late 2009) it currently has 2 sticks of DDR3 2GB PC3-8500 1066MHz, I am wanting to remove one stick and replace it with a DDR3 4GB 1Rx8 PC3L - 12800S That I have lying around, to give the Mac a total of 6 GB of Ram would there be any issues with the Ram sticks being different types.

it is generally advised against running two different kinds of ram in the same system especially since they are different capacity, what is the speed of the second
