LG OLED C9 Audio and Wii

Hi,

 

I am thinking about buying the LG C9 OLED Smart TV. But I have 2 questions:

 

Is there any output on the TV so I can connect it to my amplifier?

 

And how can I connect it to my Wii Console?

I looked at the specifications and it has SPDIF (Optical Digital Audio Out), Line out, and also HDMI ARC (Audio Return Channel).

 

As for the Wii, that TV doesn't have Component / Composite (AV) ports, so you would have to buy a Component to HDMI adapter and an HDMI cable for that. Keep in mind that the resolution will be 480p it will probably look not so great.

 

Edit: actually I looked a bit into it and there seems to be a Wii to HDMI adapter which you plug into the back of the wii so it will at least upscale the picture to 1080p and you can connect via HDMI cable from there.
