Problem about my RAM configuration ( I think )

Wialan

Hello,
I have noticed some slows, freeze and stuttering along with huge different of FPS. with my pc recently. I tried dooing a Userbenchmark test to see where the problem could come from, i got these results ( https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/26285572 , https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/26466260). So i tried activating XMP, i lost the results of the profile with my ram at 3000mhz but i got this one https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/26545226.

Before activating XMP i got ~80FPS in DOOM eternal and now i have problems having more than 40.

Is my RAM at fault ? is it my motherboard ? or worse my CPU ? Just the wrong options ?

I have Windows 10 64bit.

My pc : i7 8700k, Aorus z370 Ultra gaming , 2*8 Gb of Ram 3000Mhz c15, gainward gtx 1060 phoenix gs 6GB, 2* 1 tb HDD, a 750W PSU.

My bios version is F7( yeah i know it's old)

Thanks for your answer ( and your understanding of my bad english).

A newer BIOS version could improve compatibility with your memory, if it is an unverified kit.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

I tried too (i'm now running the latest one)but somehow i got even worse results https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/26556374
I'm kinda lost. I don't understand how : activating XMP can lower the perf of my cpu by that of an offset.
