so i just wanted to get all my good questions in on my pc im about to by from cyberpower.... i know its a good idea to have a power surge protector like a opti ups but im just getting all confused here... with the setup i curently have it says my cpu will draw about 520 watts so i got a power supply of 600 watts (i dont plan on doing anything crazy with this pc like sli or overclocking) and i also have checked a ups of 615 watts...... now im not sure if this is enough or too much some advice would be great....this is my first pc :/

You can never really buy a PSU with "Too Much" power unless it eats into your budget that could wisely be spent elsewhere. My advice is to find a nice balance of capacity and efficiency. If that extra 15 watts could be better used on a better 80+ efficiency level, get a lower capacity with higher efficiency so long as it doesn't effect that stability of your system.

As long as it isn't a real piece of junk you will be fine, please don't tell me that you selected the "OEM" version. What BRAND did you select?
