6 bit, 8 bit

Matttaj69

I found some nice and kinda cheap 24" 1920x1080, IPS, 6 bit HDR monitor and I am wondering If it´s better or worse than 1920x1080 24" VA 8 bit panel. What do you think? Can you help me?

It depends what you are using them for. IPS panels are typically better for color accuracy, while VA typically work better for high refresh rate gaming.

Just some work, photo editing a bit and gaming. (i do not mean 24/7 gaming; just to be sure)

6-bit HDR is a joke. You need 10-bit color for proper HDR. And I wouldn't go less than 8-bit for any use really, 6-bit is obsolete.
