Shadow PC streaming.

For those who have used Shadow PC, how is it?

Would you recommend it?

 

I was looking to build a new desktop this summer but with the UK Shadow PC streaming starting in July (hopefully) I was hoping it might be a better alternative considering I might (emphasis on the might) be going to uni in september.

I have a reasonably powerful laptop for my everyday work but wanted something to game. I mainly want to enjoy Star Citizen (already got it, runs at 25fps on my laptop).

 

Was considering the basic package plus a 256GB expansion. That should set me back about £300 for a year's worth vs a PC that would be at least £1000. I have streamed some games on Geforce NOW and it runs pretty well. My internet is sold as 100mbps but I'm using it over wifi on the second floor of the house so I get an average of 70mbps down, 20mbps up, and a 5ms latency time.
