Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 Memory Sabrent Rocket Q 1 TB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive Gigabyte GeForce RTX 2060 6 GB OC Video Card   These are the parts I have looked out for my build, but I am not sure about some of these. Also would like help choosing a power supply. If you have some tips or recommendations for parts that I could use instead of the ones I have chosen please write them.

Everyone here recommended rx 5700 xt is it really better than rtx 2060. Arent nvida graphics gards better.

A 5700XT is faster than a 2060 non super in most games.

5700-XT is fantastic for the price +/- $40 over the 2060 for a newer card. Nvidia GPU's are better IMHO, but i was on a tight budget myself and the 5700 looked appealing (especially if you can grab an OC version at a decent price)

The 5700XT is a better card than a 2060 super.    However, if you are not comfortable with an AMD GPU, then by all means grab a 2060 Super.  I picked up a 2070 Super instead of the 5700XT due to my concerns over the driver issues at the time.

Agreed. AMD has been notorious for having driver issues even when branded as ATI (Especially with Linux). Pulled an All Nighter trying to figure out why my PC would BSOD when installing GPU drivers on a vertical GPU mount but not when installed direclty on the board.  Went as far back as V. 19.5 (i think). Come to find out, the Riser cable wasn't compatible with PCI-e 4.... i was about to go buy a 2060 Super but didn't want to give up because I LOVED the card

 

The kicker is that my board shipped with an old BIOS and would fail on a bios update with the card installed on the mount, so i had no option to force PCI-E 3.

 

I had EVERYTHING installed and didnt want to take it apart. All cable management was done, real PITA; The only thing i didnt test on the bench was the vert. GPU mount.

I don't have an AMD card to be able to answer that.  @NickDawg41 has an AMD GPU and I think would be better suited to answer that.

As of April 2nd... things are pretty stable, but that doesn't mean that there won't be other issues down the road. AMD has ALWAYS had driver issues and has taken longer to identify and remediate them VS. Nvidia.

Some AMD B450 chipset motherboards may need a BIOS update prior to using Matisse CPUs. Upgrading the BIOS may require a different CPU that is supported by older BIOS revisions.

Not an issue if you go with an MSI MAX board like the Tomahawk.

If a motherboard does not have Wi-Fi one has to add a USB or PCIe adapter. Wi-Fi and wireless tend to be used synonymously in the current context.

 

Current gen diy motherboards support wired network connections.

The MSI Tomahawk MAX is better. The B450 boards are not really that good from Asus. They have good X570 boards, but they cost a bit more.

You can have SATA or NVMe for that format. The Sabrent Rocket Q in your list is NVMe but you also have SATA ones like the one below, but they have slower read/write speeds.

The Crucial P1, Western Digital SN550 or Intel 660p are usually pretty cheap for the 1TB versions and are fine for a gaming pc if you want other NVMe options.

They are still useful for mass storage, but you can always add one later if you need to.
