Motherboard compatibilty issue

I want to use the AMD Ryzen 3700X with the MSI B450 Tomahawk Max but PCPP gives me this warning

Warning! Some AMD B450 chipset motherboards may need a BIOS update prior to using Matisse CPUs. Upgrading the BIOS may require a different CPU that is supported by older BIOS revisions. 

Is this something I should be concerned about?

So they use the same socket and will technically work. However, since the CPU was released after the motherboard chipset (B450), that means the motherboard will need a software (BIOS) update to be able to recognize the CPU. Sometimes they come with an updated BIOS out of the box, sometimes they don't. 

This one, however, does support them. It has an updated BIOS right out of the box - in fact I think this one was manufactured after the 3rd-gen Ryzen CPUs, albeit using the older chipset and not the new X570 chipset. It'll work just fine
