Steam game issues.

I installed the game atlas through steam, played it for awhile (30+hrs). Then went to launch it and it started trying to redownload it. Did what steam support said to do and let it proceed. They said it would recognize the existing files and not download new ones. However it proceeded it allocate another 100g of space and download another 40g of data just to not launch. In the mean time I installed a new 1tb Samsung ssd (for more storage old one was only 250g) and a complete fresh install of Windows. Redownload steam, redownload atlas everything looks great go to launch atlas to play and steam wants to download it again say the game isn't installed. But if I look up the file it is sitting in the exact folder steam put it in. Any help would be great!

Sounds like it's time to contact Steam support and/or the developers since you've already eliminated it being a software/OS problem with your reinstall.

Okay ty. I'm new to PC gaming and thought I was on the right track by wiping and reinstalling everything. The told me to just delete and redownload it all again.
