Not long ago like 2/3 weeks ago i bought 16gb kit of ddr3 1600ghz patriot ram kit since i had 12 i wanted a little upgrade but i have a problem now where when i play battlefield 1 or fallout 4 the game crash to destop randomly without any errors popping up like the application close instantly could this be faulty ram or what could be the fix for this

Run Memtest64 to check errors on the ram

   @Whiro tag or quote will do the trick

clear CMOS and try again, maybe the memory settings arent stable.

Conventional wisdom is midge crashes often mean bad ram.  You still got the old 12gb?  Maybe put it back in and see if the problem goes away.  If it does the single stick at a time and running memtest on the new memory would be the next step.  

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.
