So i got a m.2 drive some time ago and i wanted to install windows on it.

How do i make my m.2 into a bootable device.

I dont see it in my boot priority on my bios.

My motherboard is a z97-p

From brief reading, Z87/Z97 were a bit sketchy about NVMe support-- try disabling legacy mode/setting it to UEFI only.

What specific drive did you get?

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

PSU tier list

How many watts do I need?

PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

Kingston A2000

It's NVMe and not SATA so it should accept it as a bootable device if you install Windows on it.
