Hey guys glad to be a part of this forum , have a big question i just built my first PC back at around november a little late gift for my self i checked all the parts my self and bough them the guy up front was nice enough and gave me ideas and tips but never did i thought that my build would be a little bit pain in the ass up to this day , first month was good 2nd month of having my build the computer started lagging , Goggle chrome + 1 app program and it would held back my expirience of playing nicely the CPU usage would hit 100 % even with one program or Even when i play a really low Spec game such as ( Ran Online ) , i cant even run the game in it's highest specs when there is a lot of people playing the game i always have to run it at low specs.

My Question is how do i pinpoint which part of my CPU build is Bottlenecking and why does it do so , i am a really brand new at this so it be nice if you guys go easy on me on this one.

I paid over 650$ ( Canadian Dollars ) for my build and i would just love it if i am able to fix this issue in some sort of way , but will not be looking to upgrade any of my parts as of this hard times we go through rn , but if there is some sort of way to be able to at least ease this lagging issues i get or not being able to push my build to its max potential it would be greatly appreciated [ My English isn't that good but i tried my best ]

Thank you for reading my post and hope to find answers.

possible problems:

1. the memory may be running in single channel

2. that motherboard that doesn't allow overclocking may be limiting the performance

3. you might have filled that SSD to the maximum capacity and is degraded too much to operate normally

4. you bought a dodgy PSU and might have been causing a bit of a problem

5. The thermals might have been too high making the CPU and the GPU throttle .

Im with the mentaility of "IF IM NOT SURE IF ITS ENOUGH COOLING, GO OVERKILL"

1. This might be really helpful cause i do only have one 8GB stick i'll go and try upgrading that

2. Don't know much about MotherBoard but i'll look into this with youtube videos.

3.SSD capacity still ahve about 130 GB of Storage left so i'm still good with that.

4.MM... what is a PSU ?

5. I have about 3-4 fans running in a Mid case so i might be good but no too sure will monitor

Thanks for this tips , i will do all steps to watch out for most of this things and Add ram to my pc.

Not sure what exactly you mean by which part of the CPU. If you are pegged at 100% CPU usage, you need a stronger CPU to get a better experience. Going to a 3200g or the new r5 1600AF would be a good choice. I recommend 16gb of ram these days too.

It might be my Ram issues , the fluctation with my CPU usage is too crazy even with Google Chrome The only app running it wold still fluctuate from 20-100 % Unstable fluctuation.

Thanks for your kind reply will look unto some of the stuffs you said

PSU is your power supply unit.

True that , good thing my pc was built way before everything happened , but i will be upgrading my Ram as i only have one stick and it might be slowed down due to it only running on one channel.
