Advice needed!

Good afternoon from the little island of Guernsey!

I am currently putting together my new Ryzen build having finally decided what I want. Considering my last build was in 2008 and I am still rocking a I7 2600k, I would consider myself fairly inexperienced when it comes to building a PC.

Here is my list of items:

ASUS ROG Strix X570-F
AMD Ryzen 5 3600X

Corsair (CP-9020081-UK) RMi Series RM650i
CORSAIR VENGEANCE RGB PRO 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 3600
WD Blue SN550 1TB High-Performance M.2
ASUS WATER COOL ROG STRIX LC 360
Seagate 4 TB BarraCuda 3.5
Lian Li 011 Dynamic

Firstly I hope I haven't missed anything, so shout if I have, secondly due the case having a lot of spaces to put fans I am purchasing 6 to go in the case alongside the AIO. Does anyone know what I need to allow me to connect all these fans to the motherboard without the need of a controller, and will motherboard have the ability to control their speed?

Thank you in advance to anyone who helps out, it is greatly appreciated!

firstly, you are missing a GPU.

secondly, you are using very high end (read expensive) components, with a cheap mid-range cpu. what is the purpose of this build and your budget? it seems very unbalanced.

I already have a GPU within my current machine, GTX 1070 so this will be carried over from my current build.

The machine will be used for gaming and moderate editing of photos and videos.

After extensive research regarding the CPU, I don't currently have a need to blow additional cash on a higher end CPU when I could just upgrade it later down line once prices come down, this will be in addition to a small RAM increase as well.

you can go with a msi b450 max series board or a cheaper asus x570

extremely overkill and overpriced

rgb pro makes these expensive

don't need an asus 360mm radiator for a 3600. again, overpriced and overkill. a $50 air cooler will do the job.

Are you buying the parts from Mainland UK ?

I would do something like this. You could buy a 5 pack of the Arctic fans and then another single one as it works out a tiny bit cheaper that way if buying from Scan.

Hi all

Thank you for the recommendations, they are greatly appreciated. My location gives me a slight advantage on pricing where we don't get charged import/VAT on items purchased online. Therefore you can remove 20% of cost from each item. As its stands with the set up mentioned originally the price stands at around £900.

Think I will work through each item listed above to see if I can come up with some better pricing though!
