Before you go and say my graphics card is dead I can tell your for a FACT it is not. Im an experenced pc enthusiast and ive never had a problem i cant solve, but this one has me stumped. Every time i loose power unexpectedly my from me accidently bumping my cord or just being lazy and flicking the switch, my pc wont output video when it starts. Im pretty sure its getting past bios and going too the windows 10 login. Motherboard code AA. After a couple hours of either restarting it over and over or just letting it sit powered off, it will eventually boot like normal. Thats why im sure none of my parts are dead. This happens nearly everytime it gets turrned off because I never shut my pc down. Specs i9 7900x, 1080TI, 32gb ram, 256gb nvme boot drive, 2 hard drives, x299 strix mobo, HX 1200I Corsair psu, h100i aio. Heres a list of things ive tried while trying too just get it too work, diffrent gpu, reseating the cpu, 1 stick of ram tried all 4 that was fun, reseating mobo battery, took out all the storage just hoping for bios too show no anvil, diffrent hdmi, xiffrent monitors, tried different display port cables and different ao ports on both monitor and gpu, different power cords@wall outlets, put a box fan infront of pc thinking maybe my pump died on aio died again (dont buy h100i v2s)

when mine wouldnt display, there was an issue with the insertion of my gfx. try screwing it in looser/tighter and adding pressure to the gfx slot. it may show image. just a troubleshoot idea

It just loaded up after an hour of having it powered off, i did try holding the reset and power button while it was unplugged and pulling the mobo battery so i really dont understand why waiting with the power switch off is the only thing that works this doesn't even make sense

The GPU might not be dead but it could be dying. Components coming back to life after being completely powered down for awhile is often a sign of failing hardware.

My only other guess is if secure boot is enabled it might be causing issues with the card POSTing correctly.

Ever sense the day i got it ive had too under clock it 10mhz just for my games too not crash but ive always thought of that as fine because its a Gigabyte Xtreme edition that comes pre overclocked and i figured it was just binned improperly so theirs a solid possibility it might be dieting but its the newest part in the system.  I have disabled windows fast boot in windows but not in bios yet that might be it. I also have a theory it happens every time it blue screens from improper shutdown

It may have been defective out of the box then. If the card is unstable at stock settings I'd contact Gigabyte support. It might not be the source of your problem here, but sounds like a strong possibility. If nothing else it's best to rule it out.
