MB/ Asus h170 pro gaming {updated bios to last version}

Gpu/ asus gtx 1060 6gb

Cpu/ i7 7700

Already updated everything i could, it was working fine until i tried to change the thermal paste of the gpu, when i tried to put back all together the gpu stopped giving video output and basically stopped working, now im using the integrated graphic card.

The gpu is out of warranty and i cant find someone that repairs gpus in my country.

Maybe, maybe not.  There’s very little information here so it’s hard to say one way or the other.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

What can i do to get more information?? temp readings are ok, the processor has heat and it is recognized but the memory and clocks all show 0..

It all started when i tried to change the thermal paste, before that the card was working ok

Things we would need:

make and model of motherboard

make and model of gpu.

make and model of CPU (this mostly matters because some CPUs have GPUs built into them that can be used for testing)

firmware and bios updates. (One generic suggestion is just update all of that)

anything specific that happened that might have caused the problem.

Just because the gpu is reporting a problem doesn’t automatically mean the hardware died. There may be a connection or motherboard issue instead.

Well this may indicate that you didn’t put it back together properly, too

much pressure on the die maybe? Try to take it apart one more time, see how’s the paste spread and do put it back together again.

   @Whiro tag or quote will do the trick
