Is this a pretty good build? I already have a case and the power supply that is listed along with some mechanical hard drives for extra storage. I wanted to stay under $500 and if I'm honest I wanted to stay closer to $400.

ryzen 5 1600 (12nm) is cheaper and better than the ryzen 5 1600 (14nm). the 12nm version is on par with ryzen 5 2600.

The power supply is kinda bad so I'd replace it if possible. I made some changes, cheaper SSD and ram to make some room for a better motherboard.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

PSU tier list

How many watts do I need?

PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

Isn't the 12nm newer. I just bought it for a friend on Amazon for only $85. Performance is a steal for the money I've heard.

The Ds3h is an entry level mobo, I would not recommend it for r5
