Electrically Conductive Epoxy

I need to connect the anntenna leads from my laptop to my new WWAN LTE card 

I cant get the leads to snap onto the card... its are to get my finger in the appropriate spot and get them to mechanically snap together

Is it ok to use Electrically Conductive Epoxy to glue them down...would this work 

Or is there some tool to make this easier

It probably won't work-- the antenna lead is only the tiny middle pin, while the rest is ground/shielding. If you epoxy them on, it'll just short the antenna to ground, stopping any signal.

Will i get signal without without connecting all the leads??

How does it fall off? Did the connector get ripped out or is it not staying connected? Real photo would help understand...

The one connector on my first card from dell broke so I had dell ship me a new one

still having trouble getting them to connect

So your problem is with the bottom connector? It's completely deformed, the ring is split open and sticking out, normal you can't connect the antenna cable to it. Connector will need replacement.

or is there a tool to help me get these connected

No. The connector on the card needs to be replaced.

I ordered a new card... still having trouble getting any connecting to properly connect

I just unpacked the new card and installed it... still cannot get any of the connectors to snap together... its too small of a space to get my finger in properly

can i use glue

But is that the old card or new? Show your current situation.

Plug the wires before inserting the card, and be very careful...

 

No you won't get signal without the cables, and it'll likely fry the card to operate it without the cables connected.

New card... all points look good

I will attempt to install with the card out first to see if that helps... the leads are so short

They take some force to snap in place. You might feel like you're gonna break it, but you won't. Kinda like with RAM.

You cannot get any signal without the leads plugged in.

....but don't push unless you're sure things are correctly aligned, or you get a broken connector like on the other card.

Now I cannot get the cellular to turn on

It says Cellular turned off and nothing happens when I toggle the cellular button

all drivers are installed

Do i need to re-image??? I hope not but i will if i need to
