WINDOWS 10 AUDIO/SIGNAL ENHANCEMENTS

my specs: 

asus m11hw

8700k

970evo 1tb

corsair vengence pro rgb 4*8gb

1080ti

 

updated everything

 

Pls enlighten me on the following trouble:

whenever I turn the audio enhancement on, no sound whatsoever.

when I turn it off, sound plays normally but very bland. 

i tried to turn them on and off with both realtek audio console (SOUND EFFECTS) and control panel (SIGNAL ENHANCEMENT). Same thing.

troubleshoot and reinstalling drivers didn't help

 

I just want the sound to have more bass and clarity. The normal bland sound is making me nauseated. Please help me restore the audio enhancer function. Please let me know if you need other information.

Have you tried rebooting after enabling that setting? Some of those audio settings essentially turn the device off. Rebooting turns them back on while keeping any changed settings enabled.

thanks for the reply! i have tried it but still didn't work. I am now using windows stock driver and use the dolby atmos to set the enhancement. it works fine...for now at least
