forcing g sync

Go to solution Solved by Fasauceome,

If your freesync monitor is connected via display port, you can go to the Nvidia control panel and set up g sync

Is there any way you can force g sync onto a free sync monitor? Just that i have found a really good deal on a monitor but it doesnt support g sync which is super frustrating. Is there a way to force it?

What gpu do you have? Does this monitor have freesync?

Gsync is a hardware part that has to be added to the monitor so you can't force it. However if your nvidia card is new enough it will be able to use freesync which is basically the same as gsync but an open standard.
