No definetly not after that BSOD it just scares me a lot.So anyway back to my question could it be damaged?

Nope.

Alright long story short i got a new 3600x as a cpu and recently it's been running kinda hot  so i went in ryzen master and changed the voltage to 1v and 3.8 ghz on all cores. And as soon as i clicked "apply".It insta bsod.So i was like "oh ok it doesn't want me to do that" So i stopped messing with the voltage whatsoever but my question is, could i have damaged my cpu from that one bsod? I mean it automatically resetted to stock, and i do have it on stock everything so i don't want to wake up one day getting 1,5k Blue screens every nanosecond, if you know what i mean.

How hot? Check the mounting pressure on the cooler.

Not actually that hot don't worry about it. 60-80c depends on what game im playing. But i just scare myself like a dumbass.I did it about 2 days ago and my pc is working fine so.I just want to know if it could be damaged

Are you using the stock cooler? Might want give negative offset voltage from 0.05 to 0.1v a try to lower your voltage.

Nope.Im using a Cooler CPU ID-Cooling SE-224 RGB not the best one but it's alright

Reapply thermal compound and cooler. When you re-apply thermal compound, make sure to do the spread, x, or double line. Give negative offset voltage from 0.05v to 0.1v a try to see if it helps with the temp. Turn off PBO aka PrecisionBoostOverride not Precision Boost.

Alright man i fucking love you for answering fast, where i live it's legit 4:29 AM.And anyway one more question. One thing i can do that i've tested to lower my temps without doing anything is just to enable power saver on windows, but the thing is when i did my 3dmark tests There was a difference in score obviously. But the gpu usage at the combined score from fire strike was 5-10% lower on the gpu so im just asking can enabling power saver mode bottleneck my cpu? BTW i have a RTX 2080S.And when i asked this question one guy said it possibly could bottleneck since power saver mode is limiting the frequency on the cpu.So what do you say?

Windows Power Saver does limit your cpu performance a lot. Use AMD Ryzen Balance Power mode. Get a bigger air cooler like NH D15 and such. Use negative offset voltage from 0.05v to 0.1v to lower your temp. Turn off PBO.

Your cpu BSOD when you apply 1.2v and 3.8ghz indicates it is not stable. And no it will not going to damage your cpu unless you overvolt it or physically damage it.

Don't enable power saving mode or anything silly. Don't even try to downclock it. Neither of those is fixing the actual problem just hiding/reducing it.

Assuming this is your cooler: https://www.techpowerup.com/review/id-cooling-se-224-rgb-cpu-cooler/6.html

It seems to preform as good as a Cryorig h7 and the reviewer had no issues with a 8700k at stock, and even managed to get through every benchmark with a decent overclock at high temps. The 8700k uses wayyyyy more power and runs hotter than a 3600.

So we know your cooler is good enough and your temperatures are too hot.

Luckily for you, that's an easy fix!

All you do is:

1. Try to tighten all the screws on the cooler and make better mounting pressure.

2. Hop into the BIOS if your motherboard and set the cpu fan speed to 100 percent. Maybe the fan isn't speeding up correctly? Test it out!

3. If that doesn't work move on to replacing the thermal paste. All you do is take off the cooler and wipe the button of it and the top of the CPU with isopropyl alcohol until clean, put new thermal paste on the CPU, and remount the cooler. Easy!

4. When replacing the thermal paste make sure the mounting pressure is tight. There should be no gap between cpu/cooler. If there is, you may have the wrong standoffs installed. Trust me, it's stupid but I've done it before and mixed up AMD/Intel standoffs they are so tiny it's hard to see!
