OnePlus 7 pro battery drain

I've been using my OnePlus 7 pro 8/256 since January.

At first SOT was 6-7 hours and stand by 20-24 hours. But now I'm getting 5-6 hours hardly and stand by is 20-22 hours.

I use Android version 10 ( on latest update )

I use in on 30-40% brightness and 90hz, 2k resolution.

Is it okay. ? Is there anything to improve battery life ?

Do you really need to be at 90hz and 2k resolution? If you can decrease your refresh rate and resolution, you should see longer SOT. Also, Facebook is known to be a huge battery drain, so if you don't require it, you should disable it. Messenger still works without the Facebook app enabled.

When the son of the deposed king of Nigeria emails you directly, asking for help, you help! His father ran the freaking country! Ok?

The Pro doesn't have a 2k Display, it's a QHD+ 😉
The Regular Oneplus 7 even has more than 2k already

True 2k = 2048x1080

Or simply Full HD.

The "long" Displays with 2300+ x 1080 is even slightly more than 2k, so most cheap phones already have 2k Displays.

I mean, how do you even get the idea, that a resolution, that has 3120 Pixels on the long side is 2k? If anything, it's 3k :P

But back to Topic, enough with that definition-nitpicking :P

QHD+ resolution AND 90 Hz drain battery faster than 1080p and 60 Hz.
And Facebook Apps are battery hogs deluxe, because they spy so hard on you, they get access to almost EVERYTHING on your phone.

That beeing said, and considering the resolution and Hz, and probably the Screen Brightness, 5 Hours seem realistic here.
You also have to consider LTE antennas changing Cells when you' re on the go, or using more Power with bad reception

You usually can get 1-2 hours extra screen on time when you're at home in your Wifi.
I wouldn't be surprised if you could get 6 hours instead of 5, if you uninstall Facebook and Facebook messenger. Worth a try :P
