Worth the upgrade?

I’m currently rocking a AOC 2590fx And it’s done me good for gaming, but I wanted to step the resolution up to 1440p and also have better colors. The monitor I had in mind was the LG 27gl850. If anyone has played around with these monitors, would colors be good enough to upgrade? Or would it be more worth it to save my money and wait for something else. Thanks in advance!
