Multiple Windows 7 entries in Boot Manager

Go to solution Solved by rukia_kuchiki,

Perhaps, it can also be achieved by editting the boot settings in MSconfig.

Hey guys,

So at start up I get multiple entries of Windows 7 after stupidly formatting and installing Windows 7 (for a friend's PC) on a new drive while my primary OS disk was still in the machine. I can't remember, but if I use the Windows RE and then use the command line to do "bootrec /fixmbr" will that solve it, or do I need to just reformat and start over?
