My computer has had intermittent problems with the bios and games lagging/crashing. After fully shutting down the computer and starting it up again it goes straight to windows. The delete key does not work and when I try to boot from inside windows, the computer will "restart" turning off the monitor but leaving power to my fans and motherboard never completely shutting down to restart and won't turn back on after a Manuel shut down. It fixed itself once but is happening again, any ideas as to what's happening? (games like Apex Legends, Destiny 2, Beat saber and Half life Alyx consistently have problems)

Are you spamming delete? Try spamming delete and f2 at the same time, sometimes it can just be a pain to get into bios

Your motherboard is 7 years old and ready to retire.

Things to try:

Remove Cmos batter and clear cmos.

Replace the Cmos battery.

Replace the motherboard cpu and memory.

I've already tried the CMOS clear and battery replacement. I was thinking the motherboard is going as well but I just bought these used from a coworker a few months ago so I was hoping it wasn't :(
