URGENT!! KEYBOARD NOT WORKING!!!

isaamthegreat

I need help regarding my keyboard.

My keyboard is disabled. The lights(NUMLOCK) in the keyboard turn on but don't turn off when I press Numlock key again. I tried changing the ports, reinstalling the drivers, reinstalling windows, event trying another keyboard. I rebooted and entered into bios but at the very next second the keyboard stopped working even in the bios. Same problem occurred with two other Keyboards in the same computer. I don't this there with my ports because the mouse is running fine in those ports to which keyboard was plugged in.

I am running a MSI H110M PRO VH PLUS motherboard.

8 GB DDR4 2400MHz RAM

Intel Pentium G4560 Dual Core Processor.

Please tell if any other information is required.

PLEASE HELP IT'S URGENT (school project)

What keyboards? If all the lock lights are on and the computer/port doesn't change that, it can mean your keyboard is dead.

Can you use that other PC? Do you have any other keyboards you can temporarily use?

Since you have another computer, transfer your project to the other computer and use it for now.

I'd also suggest opening up Device Manager and showing us a screenshot with both the Keyboard and USB categories expanded.

Make sure to quote or tag me (@JoostinOnline) or I won't see your response!

Actually I tried my keyboards in my friends pc so I don't have any other pc at my home(I am poor).

So I can't transfer the project.

I can't open the device manager as I tried installing another version of windows(tried installing window 7 on windows 10 as i thought the was with OS) and now stuck on choose language page as I can't use my keyboard.

You should be able to use the On screen keyboard to get past the installation.

Windows 10 is now reinstalled but the same problem persists?

Can it be a problem with my power supply?

As motherboard seem fine as all the ports are running other USB devices easily.

Okay have you tried uninstalling the device in task manager and letting windows find the drivers for it again?
