Low timespy score with RTX2080

Have been having problems with my RTX2080. Have tried multiple things in the NVIDIA control panel, but it didn't help. I don't have any idea what to do anymore.

here's my timespy score: https://www.3dmark.com/spy/11122785

Hope that anyone can help

Yes, updated the drivers last night, and checked multiple times for the right slot

On your Nvidia control panel, are you globally forcing V-Sync? Do you have GSYNC disabled?

V-Sync is off and GSYNC is enabled.

@Reconguy6Disable GSYNC, one of the disclaimers is that it can screw up your performance score.

Tried it witthout G-SYNC it made no difference.

@Reconguy6 did you ever get this sorted.... i am running into the same issue?

Edit:   bad contact between cold plate and chip.    even though HWINFO did not show thermal throttle and temps were only 65c.  now that i have it set correctly were at 50c under load and where we should be performance wise.
