Need help finding parts for a friend of mine who is going to build a PC

he's setting his budget at $2,000 for a Gaming PC including a 27in Monitor in the the price of the budget.

He already owns a mouse and keyboard.

Any help will be gracefully appreciated :)

What about audio.  Does he have headphones or something. And why the 27 inch? They're more expensive and the pixel density is junk (unless he wants 1440p)

And where's his location?

Ps:next time follow the guidelines  so we don't have to ask you these questions

Does he have an OS he can use as well?

If he goes 27" is he wanting 1440p? It's doable with his budget.

I think he's going with Windows 8. And no he's going 1080p

Any reason he wants that over 1440p?

If 1080p and he sits close to the monitor I'd go 24"

Does he already have it, or does the OS need to be added to the build?

This is a great build, although I would instead save some money and get a 780 (which has a better price/performance ratio) instead of 780ti and use that money towards a second 780 for SLI a couple months later when prices drop ;)

Oh and another thing is the cooler. with a windowed case, an NH-D14 will look butt ugly. I'd go dark rock pro 3 because it's a super sexy and awesome cpu cooler.

And last but not least, a 250gb 840 EVO instead of a 128gb 840 Pro. It will actually be faster (because 128gb ssds are slower) and just about the same price, for double the capacity.

Otherwise motherboard, RAM, CPU are all great, but case is also a matter of personal preference IMO. I would go with a windowed fractal r4 if it was me.
