Hello,

Recently, I bought an additional Ram kit 2x8GB DDR4:

I have 24GB Ram with the new 2x8kit ( So i have on  Ram Slot 1&3 8GB Ram and on Ram slot 2&4  4GB RAm)

My problem is that My Ram frequency now is on 2400 Mhz after the upgrade with the 2x8 ram, before that the Ram frequency was on 2666 Mhz. I already checked the UEFI and there is still the profile with 2666Mhz selected.

I assume that probably the voltage is too low ( I am scared to change the voltage as I don´t want to damage anything)

I think that it also can be normal that at 24 GB Ram the speed will go down.

My PC specs are:

*i5-8600k

*Gtx1060 6Gb Vram

*MSI Z370 Mainboard

*2x4GB Ram CL16 2666Mhz

*2x8GB Ram CL16 3200Mhz

If you have any suggestions feel free to tell me.

Nuyrux.
