ok so my current build is a:

FX-6300 

r9 280x msi

8 gb or ram

750w modular power supply

cooler master hyper 412 slim

120gb Samsung ssd

1tb wd black storage 

1tb wd green backup drive

 

i was thinking of upgrading the cpu or graphic card.

should i get a second 280x or a 290. or should i get a fx 8350

If you dont have the money for the new motherboard, then stick with an 8350.

Upgrade your CPU and motherboard. Upgrade to a 8350 or a i5-4670K

His motherboard might be fine.

 

 

CPU would be a solid upgrade choice though.

yeh i cant justify spending $430 on a cpu upgrade unless it gives my much better performance over a $240 upgrade to get the 8350

I voted that you should get a second graphics card because the AMD FX 8350 is pointless. Just get the FX 8320 and save some money.

i would get one of those but they are sold out in all my local retailers

Okay well then that's okay. I thought you might have been just purchasing it because it's the higher model.

 

Then in that case getting the FX 8350 would be your best choice out of the three.

I'd just get a 8320 if possible. 8350 is fine too.
