AMD Wraith Max RGB software wont work

My Wraith max cooler came in today and now that i have it installed along with usb cable for the rgb, the fan header, and the controller software installed i cannot get the software to work. Coolermasters software just tells me to "plug in your CM device to get started", I've tried 2 different working usb headers with no dice. I've looked around and found out that i need the usb cable and not the rgb but it still doesn't work for me.

Reintall the Software.

Go inside your pc and disconnect then reconnect the cable header.

please try to research on google your problem and check if others have a solution for it.
