Looking for new 1440p Gsync monitor

Ryzone

So my Acer XB271HU started giving me screen burn in problems and am in the market for a new 1440p gsync monitor.

Does anyone have any suggestions on which ones are good to get. Seems very slim pickens right now, everything is out of stock.

What is your budget? Are you ok with G sync Compatible or should it be certified?

$500 USD + another $100 for state taxes and extended warranty. Nothing set in stone though.

I cannot recommend the AOC Agon AG241QG enough. It is such a consistent monitor with good color accuracy and of course gsync. I got mine used like new for 320ish used so I don't know for how much you can get one completely new but I'm pretty sure there is a cheaper model with almost exactly the same specs that is "only" gsync compatible.

(If it has freesync you can also get gsync)

Is there any difference from a monitor with a Gsync module inside compared to one that is just gsync certified?

My eyes can't tell the difference between them so I would say going with a gsync compatible one and saving a few bucks is always worth it imo

I'm curious how a 1440p resolution monitor looks on a 32" compared to 27"

Personally I don’t really mind gsync compatible, it’s good enough. I like 27” best, lots of others do too. 32” is quite big and many consider it too big. 1440p on 32” makes you have to turn your head which can get annoying.
