One thing that I highly suggest is turning the game volume down I personally find it a bit to high. As far as your mic volume being too low is not the case it is the game volume being too lour to hear you. If you turn up your voice it may cause an issue with clipping in the audio and still it will not resolve the audio issue rather it will just make it worse. I have been doing YouTube videos in the Gaming genre so I know the issues with Commentaries and Game play. I have the Elgato so when I do live record while talking it reduces the Game Play volume and while I am not it turns it up. It takes practice but over time you will find your style that you find perfect. Also work with brightness and color corrections.
