Hey guys I have today bought used Oracle/SUM Fire X4170 M2 server seemed to work all RAM and CPUs detected... But the ILOM remote management was locked and nobody knew the password so I googled how to reset it. I had no luck with it so I just tried to reset the CMOS maybe it will work. I powered off the server and opened it, then I pressed the CMOS reset button, closed the server and pressed the powerbutton. Nothing happened... So I unplugged the server from electricity and then plugged back in. All front LEDs (OK, Warning, ILOM) flashed 3 times and that was all. The OK led on the back was flashing as before when it was working. The server now sits there and does  nothing. After some time (like 2minutes) I was able to ping it from my pc but no luck with web interface (not even loading). After a minute all of the fans start running at max speed and nothing will happen. I left it like that for 20 minutes nothing... I tried reseting the CMOS again (now the proper way cause I found manual finaly) no luck with that. The server does now want to post even but it's weird cause the back LED flashes OK and the front one does nothing. I was searching for some BIOS to reflash with USB drive but all that Oracle has to say about this is that you are supposed to update it from the ILOM. I have no idea what to do now do you have some suggestions ?
