Hi

So I've been considering to buy the rx 5600 xt but due to the many issues I heard about the drivers I'm hesitating , so I was wondering if anyone knows if the issues are fixed or if they are a bit less bugging now.

I heard about some major issues like black screen display glitching out for a couple of seconds and crashes etc...

Bought my 5700xt in September, only one version of the drivers ever gave me issues back in December or January, but it was fixed right away on the next driver update.  I'm running the latest drivers, 20.3.1 with no issues, and great performance.

is it the Asus strix one ? saw that for 300$ on amazon a bit ago and heard some bad reviews about thermals.

I was about to buy it because I mean no matter how bad the thermals are its gonna out perform the 5600 xt right? Idk

I see.

do you reckon it's worth it to go for the 350$ EVOKE rx 5700 xt  instead of the sapphire 5600 xt for 300$?

Budget is kinda tight for the build im going with 1000$ ~ max

personally i would skip the 5600 series and get a cheap 5700 and bios/overclock it for that price.

is one of the better cards for a good price. If I could do it over, I would have got this one probably.

I know the sapphire one is really good but its 100$ more expensive :/

I'm trying to find reviews and stuff about the MSI EVOKE one becaues that thing is literally 100$ cheaper than all other rx 5700 xt's out there I'm trying to figure out how

also  not sure if the 5700 xt is an over kill for me cause im going for 1080p gaming 144hz , I saw that the 5600xt can't pull more than 80-90 fps in AAA titles on ultra settings (I love graphics so i want graphics to be high/ultra preferably)

could consider a used 1080 ti off ebay. if you're lucky you might be able to score one for 300-350
