Windows installation blue screen upon setup.

SeerreuS

Everytime I install Windows it reboots and goes into set up and immediately goes to blue screen. The system continues to Loop and restart every time telling me it's missing important files in drivers. Bugcode ndis driver. I've attached the photo below. I just bought a brand new ryzen 3900x and paired it with an  x570 Asus TUF gaming motherboard. All I had to do to get into finally complete the setup was going to the BIOS and go into advanced settings and disable the Wi-Fi controller. I learned about this online from multiple other people having this problem and I'm sharing it on this forum in case people haven't heard about it.

Do you read OP post? His third word is your answer.

OP: check your hardware twice, try just single ram stick, disable any oc etc.

If you have your old installation, try to boot it just for made some tests (like stability test, temperatures etc).

Yes but then said bought new cpu and motherboard afterwards, missed it.

OP: I recommend trying each RAM module at a time.

You could go on another working computer and make a bootable copy of Memtest then scan the memory modules.

Also to fix wifi issue, manually load a newer driver for the Intel Wireless-AC 9260 device (which is on your board) from a second USB drive.

Link if you need it. https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000017246/network-and-i-o/wireless-networking.html

Make sure you get all other drivers and bios updates from asus and install.

Yes I did, I even pulled Ram CMOS battery and everything else including GPU. And I kept getting blue screen after blue screen on the initial setup until I'd disabled Wi-Fi controller in advanced settings in BIOS.

Everything is running fine. I did exactly what you said and pulled everything from the board. This didn't work the only solution was disable Wi-Fi controller in settings. Asus has also released an official statement I guess which describes this problem.

After I got Windows to install I went into the BIOS and enable the Wi-Fi controller and everything is working now as it should. I've had problems in the past using the Armory crate drivers for some reason it doesn't detect an out-of-date driver for me but perhaps I will give it another shot

Well if it working that is great news.

Was this original post about a problem or the fix?

Yeah I'm sorry if I wasn't clear in the post but apparently it's a big problem with a lot of people right now and that is the fix and it worked first time for me. I just wanted to share with the Forum, what took me about 15 hours to figure out.

Oh that is what I thought at first. Hah. Well good to know the issue nonetheless, cause once new intel drops (if supply & demand prices are not present)  I'll be buying a TUF Asus board. We'll see if their intel boards have the same problem.
