New router???

Hey my internet becomes horrendous when multiple people start using it

 

this is my current speed however i see it dip alot when others use it

my current router is a http://www.amazon.co.uk/Technicolour-TG582n-Port-Wireless-Router/dp/B005ELFTH4 cam free with my internet

 

what do you guys think would a new router help me keep my speeds up when more people use it?

 

if it helps i mainly use my pc for gaming (99% of the time its league of legends) and skype, the rest of my family its usually streaming like netflix to ipads

From what the reviews of your current router are saying, it would help to get a better router, as many other people are also having issues with it.

I have Plusnet as well. You can call Plusnet or contact them on the forum and request your upload speed to be uncapped to up to 1meg, at the moment your upload is capped at 448kb/s. I would recommend keeping the TG582N router because it's actually really quite good. This is my speed on Plusnet ADSL2+

Hi everyone

Has anyone ever considered getting this router http://www.fritzbox.eu/en/products/FRITZBox_7490/index.php. Its a router made by a german company called FritzBox. I used to have two of the their routers in germany (im in the uk now) and they are absolutely amazing, and surly the new ones are even better. Let me know what you think.
