i've had that on for the entirety of my life

i just turned it off and noticed no difference - i did notice a difference in windows tho.

Which games does it affect and is it really worth turning off? as turning it off each time before a game and back on after i finish gaming seems hard work..

Thanks

Just keep mouse acceleration off. Acceleration at none is better for your aim.

The enchanting pointer precision and mouse acceleration aren't same thing. Acceleration means that when you move pointer, Windows accelerates movement as long as you continue moving it. Enchanted pointer precision is bit on the opposite as it stops cursor as soon as you stop moving the mouse. So if you are already using high dpi mouse and use very precise movements, ofc it doesn't have any real effect. Its better for using touch pads.

Just keep it unchecked. Definitely can instantly notice difference once you disable it just by moving mouse. It's kinda made for small mousepad use in a way. Though I don't know why they still keep it on as default. One of the first things I disable on fresh Windows install.
