Software to make PC case?

So being in love with the Ncase series, and all the other mini-itx cases, I have kinda been thinking about maybe making my own case (more of a side project and make my future wife's computer as a test project). 

 

What software would be best for designing a computer case? And be able to add hardware to the designs to see if it all fits and what not?

It looks like it would cost about $1600/year for AutoCAD.

 

I've used Fusion 360 before and it's substantially cheaper at around $500/year although they do also offer it for $60 per month.

Judge a product on its own merits AND the company that made it.

OnShape is a decent CAD program that is free afaik.
