Hi guys!

Can anyone tell me the best product to flush through my loop in order to clean this out. I scrubbed some parts and flushed with water but it come back out of hard to get at places and the water doesnt budge it.

The gunk is a mixture of build up from opaque white coolant and alloy mixed metal infusion. Ive since replaced with copper rads and clear ek coolant. It was previously 100 times worse but I managed to get alot out with vinegar and distilled water.

Thanks guys.

For acrylic, maybe consider something like plastX since it will polish at the same time, I bet half the problem you're looking at is scratched up acrylic rather than actual residue.

Hey thanks ill have a look, its pteg pipe also and no scratches man all build up basically brand new loop. The opaque coolant and the alloy rads had build up in ther like you wouldnt beleive.

Confused, but this is what you should have done.

- Drain the loop

- Throw the aluminium radiators out

- Open all the waterblocks and clean with a toothbrush and chrome/copper polish

- Clean all acrylic parts with plastx

- If build-up is present in the PETG tubing, throw that out too

- If necessary, re-bend new PETG tubing

- Rinse all components with water, then distilled water

- Reassemble loop, and fill with new fresh coolant.

So at no point should the aluminium radiators have a chance at depositing the build up since they are in the bin.

Sorry if i made it confusing.

I have,

• drained loop

• diss assembled, binned all alloy radiators

•installed ek copper radiator

• filled loop with distilled water flushed for 24 hours

• drained loop

• filled loop with distilled water and cleaning vinegar mixture flushed for a few hours

• drained loop

• re filled loop with EK coolant and started using the pc again but all the tubes are still dirty, I wanted to avoid re bending all tubes if possible thats why im looking for a product to flush the loop and remove the final traces. I have like multiple meters of bent tube and dont want to re bend all the tubes if i dont absolutely have to.

So you didn't clean the inside of your blocks (i.e. the microfins that are also probably clogged)?

Pipecleaners are your best bet for cleaning inside of tubes, but  they will scratch them making them look even worse.

I have not scrubbed the blocks yet as i planned on trying to remove as much as possible with a chemical cleaner, I've seen people talk about all sorts of them on here you can flush through the loop.

Then once i had done that i planned to scrub the blocks. My cpu block is 100% visible from the front and has no blockages or build up just some light shading like the tubes. The temps and flow remain the same as always.

Sounds like i have to replqce all the tube unless someone has an idea on what chemical will remove the pastel coolant coloring.

I think your logic there was a bit flawed, brush teeth before using mouthwash, scrub blocks before flushing. You evidently had some particles adhering onto surfaces, and now you've disributed them as a fine coat across your whole loop (including your new radiators).

Use Mayhems Blitz Part 1 and 2 would be my recommendation.

Haha yes my logic was just having a go at it ans seeing how it turned out.

Not the best apparently, i was actully just watching a video on the blitz kit and was about to as your thoughts.

I think i will do that and see how it goes, on the whole the system performs fine its just a small asthetic loss which is bugging me.

Thanks for the help!
