Is there any way i can underclock my Nvidia MX230 (on a ASUS x509fj laptop) to avoid thermal throttling problems? I cannot tweak my clocks or voltages in afterburner (even after enabling unofficial overclocking) or any other programs . Would greatly appreciate any advice.

I have the exact same laptop with the same issue, GPU keeps throttling. Have you found any way to undervolt it?

Yeah you can undervolt it using either msi afterburner or Asus gpu tweak 2.

I found a tutorial on undervolting using gpu tweak and it worked for me for a while then just stopped but you can give it a try.

I have an Asus X512FJ with a MX230. I can't change clock x voltage curve either. Any news?
