If you'll be happy, then it's ok. :)

You know, every CPU, every motherboard and other components are made for someone, right? So all of these parts may be good or bad, depends on personal expectations, bugdet, needs etc.

For example - for my parents, who mostly browse internet and use email client, it will be way too much. For someone who like to play old games, it will be waste of money. For someone who like to play new games it may be ok. For someone who work with video editing and need extreme power - it may be not enough. Etc.

Cofig is ok. I'm just not sure about that NJoy PSU, but maybe someone else have experience with that brand.

Looks pretty terrible to me if you are buying this new ?

That psu looks like a timebomb.

A Vega 64 isn't great if buying new as AMD have better offerings in the 5700/XT.

The cpu is ok for a budget option.

That Motherboard is terrible. It will severely limit your upgrade options.

1. The PSU has European certification and very good reviews both in Hungary and Romania.

2. I'm from Romania and I found the Vega 64 in Hungary at 279,67USD.

3. Why the mobo is terrible?

You have links to these reviews ? Looking at the spec on Njoy website the 600W model has a 33A 12V rail which equals 396W.

@LukeSavenije You familiar with Njoy power supplies ?

How much is an RX 5700/XT compared to the Vega 64 ?

It has no VRM cooling. You will be pretty much limited to a 6 core cpu.

Do you never heard about PSU that have more than single power line? :)

Probably, as most of users, op will not change its config for few new generations, so if he want to use it now for R5 1600 then why not? These motherboards works just fine for 99% of users. Not everyone needs state of the art high end motherboards.

A 5700XT is at least over 400-450 USD in Hungary and Romania.

info is unfortunately very limited, but i can say that i for sure wouldn't pair it with a vega 64, while i even see unexpected shutdowns coming because of the peak transients, everything that I've seen from them so far was mediocre, if not straight up bad

I have links to the reviews, but they are in Romanian.

Also, how the heck isn't it 600w?

That psu isn't multi rail though is it. A good quality single rail psu like a Corsair RMx 550W has a 45.8A 12V rail just for comparison.

The Motherboard is junk and it will limit any upgrade in the future. It is probably one of the worst B450 boards you could buy. An ASRock B450M Pro 4 would be a better option.

Is ASRock B450M-HDV good?

In PSUs they only matter to see a bit of the failure rate, but that's not a "proper" PSU review as you'd see here as an example

Is the MSI B450M PRO-VDH MAX good?

Listen, Asus Prime is not so great, but if you don't want to OC your processor and do not want to change your processor to new one in next 2 years, then this motherboard, even if not so great, will work. Do you really think that Asus (or any other brand) release mainboard with description "this motherboard is not working, is made only for fun"? You have normal warranty, so if anything wrong happens, you can RMA it. Look at thousands of advertisements on eBay and other websites like this - lot of old computers are "i5 + H81" or even "i7 + cheap H81 board". And they still works. Maybe they do not last forever and die sooner, but after few years you'll change combo (mb + cpu + ram) anyway. Like now, for example - I assume that you have some old i5 processor, 4th gen maybe. So - assuming that you bought best motherboard for that 4th gen processor. So now you should buy best 4th gen i7 and overclock it, right? No, your old motherboard, no matter how great it was, now is just crap in 8/9 th gen Intel or Ryzen era. You don't want to spend money on DDR3 or 4th gen processors anymore, so no matter how much you spend on your old motherboard - it's useless now. And your new motherboard will be useless in the future too, so if you want R5 1600, any motherboard B450 will be good, no matter Asus or MSI, or ASrock. Asus at least have best bios.

On this forum lot of people like to recommend high quality stuff and that is good. Somehow. But sometimes it becomes funny. I remember when some guy ask for computer for Photoshop and get answer that i7 8700k will be good cpu for that. Lol, even i3 or Pentium Gold will be good for Photoshop, it's very well optimized, but that time (when I saw that question) i7 8700k was favorite choice of users here on forum. Now its Ryzen 5 3600 and I bet that if you're looking for configuration and you're using only Chrome for Facebook and play only Solitaire, people will still recommend you R5 3600 + 16 GB RAM (less equals bad, more = "do you really need it?") and some expensive high end motherboard.

I think you'll be more happy if you build your first PC by yourself. It may be not the best, but it will be your configuration and truth is that it will be not much worse than recommended configurations here.
