Help with PC

Hello the LTT forum. I need some help. I have a pre built pc that i got and i have an issue with it. The specs in it is a core i9-9900ks, 2070 super, water cooling, msi MPG gaming edge ac, etc. I got this system a couple of months ago and i couldn't figure this out. Every time i play anygame i cant play at my full screen size. I have a acer 2560x1440 monitor and when ever i play at full screen at 144hz it will max at 60fps and have MAJOR frame lag that makes the game unplayable. I have an old pc running a gtx 970 and i can run 2560x1440 perfectly fine. I would think that a newer pc with better specs would run 4k just fine but guess not. I need help!!! Also side note, every time i run a high intensive game, it will blue screen. Please help me!!!

welcome to the forum. have you ever updated the drivers? and are using hdmi or displayport on the gpu?

sorry for the delayed response. please tag or quote when responding or i wont see. have you seen what the bsods say? and do you know what the usage and temps for the cpu and gpu was before the crash?

No i didn't know the temps before crash. And the BSOD is IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL and ATTEMPTED_WRITE_TO_READONLY_MEMORY. Those were in the past but the ones recently would quickly come up then restart the pc

do you have any overclocks? from my experiance those come up with memory oc
