Hello everyone,

i wanted to take your valuable opinion on the last component my build is missing: RAM !

so my current build has the following components:

- ASUS ROG B450-I

- Ryzen 7 3700X

I have the choice to purchase two brands based on my location: Corsair Vengeance and Kingston HyperX

i am looking to get 32gb of total RAM, but i  want to avoid overclocking if possible.

The board says it supports 3600 (OC) i think the OC here means overclocked  ?

To be safe should i go for 3200 speed instead of 3600 ? i am afraid 3600 won;t run out of the box on my board.

on the other hand, which ram would you recommend ?

Corsair vengeance 16gb or HyperX Fury 16gb ? (or HyperX Predator but more expensive)

Many many thanks

Ahmad

if you didn't buy this already, please don't get it. the b450 boards from Asus are terrible. either go for one of their x570 boards, or get a msi b450 board.

as for ram, brand doesn't matter. definitely go for 3600. out of the box, any ram will run at 2133. you need to enable xmp/docp in bios to make it run at its rated speed. also, if you're going for 32gb , get 2x16, not 4x8. ryzen finds it easier to run 2 sticks than 4.
