Cannot flash TWRP

I am trying to flash TWRP recovery on my Xiaomi Redmi 6A. I have always been able to successfully do so in past multiple times on this exact device. I gave this in for a warranty repair, now it is back, they reset everything, so i'm trying to re-flash it but whenever i flash it and try to boot into it all I see is some random colorful lines. Can someone help me figure this out? Thanks in advance.
