Bottlenecking confusion

StiggyRai

Im planning a budget gaming rig and i was just wondering how bad, if at all, an rx 580 would bottleneck something like a ryzen 3 3200g

If you haven't already got the 3200G, then I'd advise you go for a Ryzen 1600AF/2600, as there's no point in going for an APU if you are going to add in a dedicated GPU anyway.

Regarding your question though, I'd only expect the 3200G to be a bottleneck in very CPU intensive titles, such as BF5 for example, but generally it should be fine.
