Fps drops in every game

My fps is dropping in every game for 10 second and back to normal again. Then after 5 minutes same thing happens. I have figured out one thing that when fps drpos my CPU temperature goes to 255 degree Celsius. Is my cooler dead or CPU can't keep up?

how do you measure cpu temp? 255 is unrealistic, more likely your temp sensor is dead

I use coretemp for measuring CPU temperature. Also when fps comes back to normal again it goes down to 45 degree Celsius
