USB 3.1 Gen 2 header solution?!

I just build a pc but I overlooked a small detail. My case has a front USB-C port which requires a USB 3.1 Gen 2 connector with my motherboard doesn’t have :(. I was looking into two options on adding an additional header that might work.

Option 1 looks more promising but there’s no real specs on the other hand option 2 looks shady as hell. Has anybody tried either solution? Or maybe there an alternative that I haven’t seen?

 

My motherboard is Asus X570 Tuf Gaming plus wifi.
