New to this board, but not a nube when it comes to building. I am currently running an a gigabyte AMD GA-970A-DS3, AMD FX4130, NVidia Geforce GTX 650, with 8G Patriot Viper Xtreme 1600. I plan to up my memory to 16G, but I dont know if I should upgrade my CPU to an FX 6350, or upgrade my Video card to a better card but something under $200? Can someone throw me an assist please?

Personally, I'd keep the 8GB of RAM and upgrade both the CPU and GPU. That would be the best option if you're just gaming in my opinion.

If you're gaming, you don't need 16GB of RAM. You won't get much of an upgrade on the GPU at $200, unless you sell your 650 and put the money into the new one. The best option would be what @Langdon said. Sell your GPU and CPU, then split the money and upgrade both

Sorry I didn't rely specify, but I Dj on my PC and also do video editing.

Also Linus, Love your youtube videos, you need to be a teacher.

In that case, I'd get a FX6300. FX8320 if you can fit it into your budget.

That FX4130 is a very slow chip, not to mention for video editing. You will have to definitely step up to something more powerful. The FX6300 and the FX8320 are both very good options, just make sure that you update your BIOS or the new chip might not be supported with the current version (if you haven't already updated it).
