After the newest Windows 10 update my CPU has been overloading hard: nearly 100°C after being on for 10 minutes. Also a slow sign in/boot, so maybe it's too many programs booting at start up or some sort of malware. Do y'all have any ideas on what could be causing the problem?

The windows update was most likely a coincidence, do you have an AIO installed? maybe the pump died, otherwise check if your CPU cooler is mounted correctly.

The CPU was maxing at 22% on Task manager. I'll double check the CPU block and clear out dust then see if the problem persists

If it's KB453599 that you've installed, it's known to have multiple problems. Some of which are:

•    Blue screen of death at sign-in and randomly
•    Problems booting
•    System freezing crashes
•    Frame rate drops
•    Program crashes
•    Audio issues
•    Microsoft Visual Studio issues

Microsoft is recommending to uninstall it if you're experiencing issues.

Oh, thats the same problem as last time. I guess that i didnt fully screw it in ladt time i fixed it and the vibrations from intensive loads must have slowly loosened it again. Whoops lol. Fairly tight this time, so hopefully the same thing doesnt happen again, or at least for a while. Thanks, _Syn_, for the tip.
