Dead pixel or is it ?

Hi guys i need help with my monitor or i am not even sure.I was using my pc when in some time i saw some black dot,i was thinking it was a dead pixel but when i screenshoted it,it appeard on screenshot.Can anybody help me to remove that thing ?

Is that on your wallpaper? I've seen pranks where people will do that.

nah dude i like open chrome and i can still see it.
I tried restarting pc now and its not here anymore

It appears on a screenshot and has a shadow underneath meaning it's actually a 1x1 application window on your screen. I've seen complaints about this and it's usually a bug caused by the steam webhelper. Closing steam down should get rid of it, or you can restart your pc which also usually works but sometimes the fake pixel just appears somewhere else on the screen.
